Norwalk's Emergency Management Office has begun to develop the City’s new Hazard Mitigation Plan to address natural and man-made hazards such as earthquake, flooding, and extreme heat. The public will be invited to participate in the hazard mitigation plan through various engagement opportunities.

Beginning September 30, residents can participate in the Play in Place Logo Hunt! A total of 50 logos will be hidden throughout Norwalk and it’s up to residents to find these to be eligible to receive prizes. Raffles will be held throughout the duration of the hunt, which ends on October 10.
