 Athens & Nationwide Environmental Services

            The City of Norwalk partnered with Athens Services and Nationwide Environmental Services to update their routing schedule to provide more efficient services to Norwalk residents. The City identified multiple areas within city limits that had both their waste & recycling collection and their street sweeping days changed. Additional areas in the City were also advised that the timeframe for their street sweeping service would change. For example, rather than having a 5 hour parking restriction, some areas saw this reduced to 4 hours. 

      These new routes will reduce both Athens and Nationwide vehicle travel miles — reducing their carbon footprint and be more convenient for residents.  The City has updated all street signs to reflect the changes. As a reminder, this affected the residential route only.
