Sidewalk Vendor Permits
Getting Started!
Prior to Filing an application for Sidewalk Vending Permit, you must do the following:

Review The City Municipal Code Chapter 5.64 - Sidewalk Vendor Program to understand the rules.

Apply for and obtain a valid State Sellers Permit.

Obtain a City Encroachment Permit with the Engineering Department.

Obtain general liability certificate of insurance (Minimum $1,000,00.00)

Apply for and obtain a Health Permit from LA County if selling food.
Once you have all the above, you may apply for a City of Norwalk Permit for Street Vending.
