The City of Norwalk prides itself in providing sports programs for kids ages 3 to 13.  Our mission is to provide a safe and positive environment that promotes player development, sportsmanship and teamwork, while prioritizing mental wellness over winning. Everyone plays!

PEE-WEE SPORTS - AGES 3 TO 5

A minimum of ten kids are needed for each class to be held.  A maximum capacity of twenty-five kids per class are enrolled/taken. 

Staff: Pee-Wee ratio 1:6

YOUTH SPORTS - AGES 5 TO 13

Kids register individually and are placed in teams. During registration, we allow a special request to be made, including: a specific coach, sibling/friend or move up a division to play with a sibling/friend. Requests are accepted and every attempt will be made to honor the requests, however there may be certain instances that the request may be denied. We DO NOT accommodate requests for practice days!

All teams are coached by volunteers. Emphasis is placed on participation rather than winning.

VOLUNTEER COACHING

Norwalk Youth Sports sponsors a year-round program, and a successful program depends on you! These programs are conducted solely with the support of volunteer coaches.  If you would like to volunteer, please stop by the Norwalk Arts & Sports Complex (N.A.S.C.) and complete a Volunteer Coach form (found below) or register online at www.norwalk.org/classes.  This would be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life! 

In accordance with state regulations, the City of Norwalk fingerprints all volunteer coaches and their assistants at no cost during the coaches’ meeting.  Please bring a valid photo I.D.

ADULT SPORTS - AGES 18+

Norwalk’s adult sports program is a great way to stay active, compete and have fun. The program offers various opportunities for adults of all ages.
