To help make your parkway beautiful and stay in compliance with Chapter 12.32 of the City of Norwalk Municipal Code (NMC), the Public Services Department has provided a quick reference guide. Please note: All parkway landscaping is the sole responsibility of the homeowner and the City does not offer financial assistance for landscape improvement projects.

To obtain approval for Alternative Parkway Landscaping, please submit a proposed layout illustrating plant material, trees, hardscape, etc. for review to the Engineering Division located at City Hall, Room 11.
