Sewer Fees

On June 18, 2013, after a noticed public hearing, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 13-1642 to establish sewer charges to pay for the sewer services, such as operation and maintenance of the City’s sewer system, including capital replacement costs amortized over 50 years of improvements.

Sewer fees [PDF]have been adopted through the Proposition 218 Process. Fees are collected from each property owner through the Los Angeles County Assessor property tax roll.
