Accounting

Finance is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective financial accounting systems and controls ensuring that the financial position of the City is presented fairly, and with full disclosure on a timely basis.

In addition, Finance is in charge of maintaining and managing:

• General ledger and chart of accounts for the City   
• Recording, summarizing and reporting City's financial transactions
• External and internal financial audits
