CALHOME

The City of Norwalk has been awarded the CalHome Grant. The CalHome Program is intended to assist first-time home buyers with down payments and owner-occupied property owners with funds to rehabilitate their homes. 

Interested applicants are invited to apply for the program. The application process may include and is not limited to participant eligibility review, property eligibility requirements, underwriting requirements, homebuyer education, occupancy requirements, etc. 

To ensure the CalHome Program is fully funded and processed efficiently, the City will accept all interested parties and will process 25 applications at a time. Once an initial 25 applications are fully vetted, the City will proceed with the next set of 25 applicants. This process will continue until all available funds are allocated.
