Dear Neighbors,
There is an upcoming neighborhood meeting related to the proposed renovation of the former Walmart building located at 11729 Imperial Hwy, Norwalk, CA 90650. The proposal includes establishing either a last-mile delivery facility or online auto sales facility that would include the painting of the building, addition of five (5) dock-high doors to the southeast part of the building, and potential outdoor loading area for delivery vans, as well as processing a text amendment to the City’s Zoning Code. During the neighborhood meeting, the developer (CenterPoint Properties) will provide information and respond to questions/comments from interested parties related to our plans for renovation and repositioning of the building. The neighborhood meeting will be held on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Norwalk Council Chambers located at Norwalk City Hall (12700 Norwalk Blvd, Norwalk, CA 90650).
All interested parties are invited to attend the neighborhood meeting on October 28th and express their questions and concerns related to the project discussed herein. CenterPoint Properties also welcomes interested parties to submit questions and comments related to the project via email to the attention of Ryan Kelleher, Manager of Development Transactions, at rkelleher@centerpoint.com.
